Project: Multifunctional space SESI-SENAI (2009)
Client: SESI-SENAI
Site: Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil
Size: 3.200 m²
Photos of the inauguration-party of the SESI-SENAI Multifunctional Space in Curitiba, one of
the projects we developed in partnership with Alberto Sauro, head of the FIEP department of expansion.
We were responsible for the concept and the basic project for the transformation of an empty
industrial building into a space for events, meetings and exhibitions.
Main focus was to maximize the usage-options with minimum costs.
We organize the large open space projecting 4 brick walls
with fixed 60, 90 and 120 degrees angles. In between the walls, moveable partition walls
can be positioned to define spaces of different types and sizes. One large metallic ceiling covers
and organizes the entire area.
We used the existing two-story administrative area for the restaurant area,
from where one has a panoramic view of the landscape of ceilings.
