FIEP is an organisation formed by the industries of the state Paraná. The Italian architect Alberto Sauro, head of the FIEP department of expansion invited us to develop a new typology for 30 new schools. Fase 1: development of the architectural concept, adaptable for different sizes and locations. Based upon 4 modular prisma-shaped elements (classroom, bathrooms, covered square, laboratories) we can configure schools in unlimited layouts, which spatial groupment results in a spacial diversity of inner courtyards, galleries and green areas, with ample light and ventilation. Fase 2: applying the concept on different schools for the cities Apucarana, Paranavaí, Guarapuava, Boqueirão, Londrina, Ponta Grossa and São José dos Pinhais. Fase 3: preparation of execution drawings for locations Apucarana, Paranavaí, Guarapuava, Londrina and Ponta Grossa. Fase 4: manufactoring of a ´kit´ with prefabricated execution drawings for three standardized schools with 6, 8 and 12 classrooms.
