Project: Apartment Angela and Anita, reformation (2009-2010)

Phase 1 of the reformation of the penthouse of Angela and Anita, consisting of a 60m2 inner space and a 75m2 roof terrace with swimming pool. The inner space lacked a definition of different ´spots´, resulting in a confused and rather messy daily use. Therefore we established 4 areas within the space, being a tv-corner, a reading spot, a playground and a dining area. Each area got its own characteristics through detailing and furniture. The lighting design and the uniform materialization of the floor facilitates the possibility to unite the different areas for parties etc. A new 2x2 ´box´ in the middle of the room serves as a storage space. We reinforced the connection between the indoor and outdoor-space by including 2 large sliding doors. In the outdoor space the barbeque space was transformed into a barbequebar and an unused alley into an elevated curved garden. The swimming pool was completely replaced and refurbished, as is the roof above the barbeque. Check the ´before´(here).
